I like this tube, because it's made well. I also like the smooth stem, and the 60mm stem option.
Just a note of caution. These presta valves are non threaded so that if you carry one as a spare and a CO2 cartridge, you may have trouble attaching cartridge to the valve if is a screw on type .
Lightweight durable tubes that I've been using for years. Besides their weight & durability, I really like the non-threaded stems. They are great for airing up your tires, I can attach my Joe Blow pump without engaging the lock lever & pump the tires to 115 PSI, pull off the pump head & your good to go. Fast, easy!
Michelin makes the best tires and tubes for the price and the stems are easy to work with when inflating unlike others who leak or break. I've been using Michelin for 20 years and will never change unless I win the lotto and can afford the premium tubes and tires that are out there...
These tubes are durable lightweight and hold for several days without needing any added air and the grooveless stems are an added bonus. My previous tubes needed to pumped every other day. Love the tubes....bought Four and will be buying more to stock up!! Go ahead and buy them you won't be disappointed.
I started using these about a year ago, and I absolutely love them. What more can I say, they are a great lightweight tire! The non-threaded valve stems are nice, and they seem to be easier to seat when mounting the tire. My flats have probably gone down by about 60% since I started using these tires.
Lightweight, great smooth stem so it doesn't tear up the pump head.
lightweight, reliable, durable. What more could you ask?
I have used these tubes for 30 years and have always had good luck. Quality is good, longevity is great, light weight, good puncture resistance and the smooth walled valve stem doesn't chew up the chuck on my tire pump. A great value.
Bought six of these tubes. Had a flat on the first ride. Replaced it on the road, that one flated within a mile. Got a tube from a fellow rider so I was able to get home. Next tube of the bunch deflated overnight. The tube used to replace that one wouldn't even take air. So I inflated all of them and did the water test to discover the problem all four had valves that leaked. I've used these tubes before with no problems, so I don't know if it was a bad manufacturing run or what, but I won't trust them again.
I got a few of these to save some more weight on my road bike.
Installed one, inflated and while working on another bike i hear an explosion. the tube blew up. put it another one, inflate it, pulling the pump valve the tube just ripped so another one was gone within 5 minutes.
Decided to suck up the additional grams and stick with standard tubes - no issue with these so far (and have been riding for 20 years).
So overall i think the value is very low and in some cases these tubes are probably dangerous.
Happy riding!
I used to think that Michelin made the best tubes, but I think something's changed in their manufacturing. I've had two of the last set of tubes that I purchased fail early, one at the valve stem and one developed a hole on the rim side of the tube. There was nothing that punctured it. I'm looking for a different tube.
I have had no problems with these tubes. Hold air reasonably well and are very light weight.
A light weight tube with smooth valve stem for easy airing
Seems to hold up well. I buy it mainly for the smooth stem, it doesn't have threads that rip up my pump gasket and the smooth stem seals better.
I like the short threadless presta stem and light weight tube. A little more expensive. Use with Easton EA90 wheels.
I have never had a flat nor blow up tire since I use this product. Very light and dependable tube. The only thing is they only come in 60 mm presto valve. I have 58 mm zipp 404 wheelset and I need 80mm valve. I hope they will make 80mm valve.
Have used there for years with very few flats
These tubes are lightweight and the stems don't have threads that tear up your pump when clamping it on and taking it off! Why on earth they put
Big fan of these as it took several tries with other brands before I finally found these. Have no plans of switching anytime soon.
