This is my second Giro helmet, and a step-up from the first. Size is L for a head measurement of 23.25". Fits well, and internal MIPS harness is easily adjustable, with plenty of adjustment up or down. Have used the helmet in transitional fall temps, but not yet on very hot (testing the cooling vents) or very cold (with thicker skull caps) weather rides. There appears to be enough adjustment available for a good fit with both light and winter head coverings. My only complaint: I'd like the option of a minimal, removable visor for sunny days, which my lower-priced helmet had. Without the included visor, I've added a visored cycling cap to my kit. The helmet value came from purchasing this helmet on sale.
I have several pairs of Giro Strade Dure gloves purchased over the past 8 years or so. They have held up extremely well under hard use while protecting my arthritic hands. I have tried just about every cycling glove out there and I always come back to these as they have been long wearing and they have very thick padding. I haven�t experienced any of the manufacturing defects so common with other gloves. The stitching, padding, and fabric have held up just fine through many uses and many machine washes. I always air dry them. Gloves have been great if your hands need maximum padding.
Great gloves with a few little issues. The first pair was perfect initially, however these gloves will stretch a bit. So what was a good fit became sloppy quick. The 2nd pair I sized down. Though super snug (almost to an uncomfortable level) turned out to become just right. Only minor quip, is the threading material doesn�t stretch, leaving some of the finger cut outs a bit tight. Regardless, I like these and wear the 2nd pair plenty. The first have been relegated to the trainer rides.
I recently purchased the Giro Eclipse Spherical MIPS helmet to replace a Kask helmet. Though my Kask fit well, this helmet is much more confortable from both a fit perspective and airflow. I use it for both long road rides and commuting. This helmet is incredibly comfortable and lightweight. Initial adjustment was very easy and getting it dialed in was great. It is definitely the most comfortable helmet I have worn. I highly recommend this helmet!
