I ride 1,000-1,200 miles per month in the harsh, dry, Sonoran Desert in Arizona.
I ordered and installed this chain to replace a stretched chain on my wife's mountain bike. The chain is easy to install with the quick links. Cog jumping by the old chain was corrected following installation of the new chain.
Easy link system for quick set-up
I'm a big guy (220 lbs), and this chain holds up well. It also is nicely compatible with my Shimano XT drivetrain, plus its easy to remove with the powerlink.
I bought this chain for my road bike and I have put about 1000 miles on it so far. I use my bike to commute as much as I can, which can sometimes get wet and I do a lot of hill climbing on some pretty long steep grades. No problems, bike shifts fine and I love the SRAM master link that comes with it. The link pulls tighter when the chain is used and you can still disconnect it and remove the chain for easy cleaning.
Always works. I've even put links back on and got the chain to work. Works well with a waxdry lube mix.
Great chain, easy to install with the powerlink. Good price. Turns the rear wheel via the crank!
