Works as advertised. Great flavor.
Use this drink mix almost every day; maybe not on an easy 1hr spin, but it does get me through tough workouts and longer rides on the weekends. Definitely recommend lemon/lime and orange.
Quite subtle flavoring. Not good or bad per se, just something to be noted.
Love ir.
Strawberry Lemonade is one of my favorite Skratch versions. Having it available in the 60-serving bag is a bonus, and when it's on sale it's even better! Can easily double the concentration without it being too sweet or the flavor too strong. A winner!
I use this product regularly to hydrate when I'm out on the bike or running. Because it uses the correct ratio and form of electrolytes and easy-to-digest natural sugars, I never have GI issues when using. Super product!
I use to get these horrific leg cramps, so bad I'd have to tell myself to breathe and would be sweating like a mad dog, the pain was so intense. Tried everything. I met a competitive bike racer and asked how he remedied leg cramps, he recommended SKRATCH and I haven't looked back. You can take to prevent cramps and in the event if you get cramp while not biking, it'll knock it down within 5 minutes, and with no sore muscle after.
I prefer the orange flavor but this flavor is mild enough for my palette. Scratch labs is my go-to nutrition for all my sporting needs. My teen son uses it for his lacrosse games too.
I usually get major hamstring cramps AFTER the ride (even when staying hydrated during the ride). Following instructions (12-16 oz of water) by SKRATCH found it took about 20 min to kick in - too long. So I tried full dose with 1/3 cup of tempered water, 5 short minutes for it to kick in - LESS PAIN - Great Product
Use for rides over 2 hours. Lemon lime flavor tastes good to me cold and warm. Because even insulated liquids get warm here in Arizona!
Tastes pretty good, doesn't have the petroleum-based food dye that Gatorade has. I wish it dissolved a little better, and the packet isn't the easiest to scoop from.
Great electrolyte drink for almost all rides. Doesn't have that sweet taste many sport drinks have.
My water bottle always contains Skratch - no more dehydration issues on long or hot rides. I also like that the flavors are very mellow, not overwhelming me with sweetness when really thirsty.
Ive used Scratch for a few years now for hydration. Works good for me.
I put 2 scoops in a bottle and drink it.
I think it keeps me full of enough resources to keep my body going for long rides.
You can mix with other flavors to create you own flavor too.
I used this an alternative to Hammer Perpetuem just to try something different . The scratch labs power mixes much easier (less powder dust when I add the water), and tastes better. I use either product to help prevent cramping on long rides, and both seem to do that job well.
This is one good tasting hydration product (Lemon/Lime). Besides great taste, it dissolves quickly, which I appreciate when I'm mixing my drinks before a ride.
When on sale a good value too.
Orange Skratch tastes great and sits well in my gut, even during hard efforts. The high electrolyte content is helpful if you ride in hot, humid conditions, or are generally just a big sweater. The large bag is cheaper on a per serving basis than the smaller bag, so I wish Skratch would offer more flavors in the big bags.
I love the orange flavor. Not too strong and not too sweet. I notice I drink much more with this mix than with plain water. Plus I never have a problem with cramps. This has been my favorite drink mix since it was introduced many years ago.
I have used this product in various flavors for over five years. It is especially helpful on rides that involve higher temperatures. It has never left me feeling bloated and that is why I continue to use it. The lemon lime is my favorite flavor.
