Works well to maintain energy and reduce cramping. The flavors are quite tasty. I use 1.5 to 2 scoops in a 24 oz bottle.
Overall I like it. It will take a few tries before you learn how much to use. Sometimes a little is all i want. Performance wise, I think it works well. We need more than just water folks. Try it.
I love these bars! They are a nice departure from some of the other over sweet bars on the market.
My husband and I have used other hydration products for years. Earlier this year, we tried Scratch Passion Fruit flavor Sport Hydration Powder. We absolutely love it. So much so, we threw away all of our other hydration products. No fizz to go flat or aftertaste, just great taste. We use 1 12 scoops of powder per 10 - 12 ounces of water poured into a 21 ounce Camelbak Podium Ice bottle loaded with ice. It is the perfect formula for us. Enjoy!
Ive tried and used many products but have always had stomach issues after several months. Decided to give Scratch Labs a try and it has been well worth it. Ive now been using this product for several yrs with no problems. It is light and clean and has caused zero stomach issues. Works great in the lovely Florida heat and humidity. Its not sugar sweet or has an after taste.
Great product for hydration and contains carbohydrates. It has barely any taste which is good because I mix it in my water bottle to plus up my Xtend electrolytes grape flavor. I ride in FL heat 95-100 degrees and feel confident that I will not heat stress due to electrolyte loss.
I switched recently to Skratch labs and have been very pleased with it during my mountain bike rides. The flavor is subtle but tastes good and helps for me as a sweaty rider. The fruit punch flavor is my favorite so far.
Not too sweet. Good electrolyte replacement.
Flavor is personal but this brand is my favorite sports drink mix.
If youve been using the sugary and syrupy grocery store energy drinks, you should try this. More like mildly flavored water than the heavy store varieties. I use it in place of water for rides over one hour. Along with appropriate solids, it keeps me from the bonk.
I've been trying different drink mixes over the last 6 months and find the scratch labs one to be the most pleasant one I've tried so far. It's not too sweet and has a very light flavor so I don't find myself getting sick of it halfway through the bottle like I do with other drink mixes.
I started with Skratch Hydration at the beginning of 2020. With the pandemic lockdowns, I wound up riding nearly 1k miles/month in my garage, and really increased my hydration needs especially through the hot summer. I'd wind up going through a 20 serving bag every 2-3 weeks, but the electrolytes definitely work, as my heart rate was much more under control with this than just water alone.
I've used Fluid, SIS and Gatorade over the years. Fluid is awesome, but flavors are limited and get boring. SIS tends to be less sweet, while Gatorade is too sweet, even when watered down. The Skratch pineapple and strawberry flavors are my favorite by far.
not too sweet and definitely helps while you're riding hard. lemon and lime is probably my favorite flavor. peach is a bit artificial tasting. pineapple is nice as well.
I use this product (lemon/lime) when I cycle, year round. I find it works fine. I like the taste very much, you don't need much, and it disolves very quickly.
It dissolves well, good flavor sets in very quickly and is not sweet.
Skratch is the best product I have found for staying hydrated without the problems that occur when you drink overly sugary or salty replacement fluids. There is just enough flavor to do what you are supposed to do drink BEFORE you get thirsty. I usually consume this during hot summer rides then go back to water and green tea when it gets cooler. The bars are very much like a KIND bar but I rarely eat unless a ride is longer than three hours.
Hoping for something that tasted better. The ingredients are nothing special and the price is too much for what you get.
Does a great job of providing electrolytes wo upsetting my stomach like other soprt drinks often does. Does require other sources for calorie intake however.
I use this on longer rides to mix with unflavored nutrients, makes them palatable, and is easy on the gut. The pleasant taste keeps me coming back, and it seems to be good on the electrolyte thing.
I love Skratch products always tastes fantastic & it works like its supposed to while cycling
