These are a great simple cage. They hold a bottle well over all types of terrain. It's nice to see a time proven design done with the best materials. In typical Silca fashion there are a few faults with it. The paint finish on the cages doesn't seem to last as well as it could, but that's a minor quibble. A good buy if they are on sale!
I wasn't terribly happy with the finish when I received this bottle cage. It's kinda splotchy not real even color. The more I kept it on the bike the more I liked it. These cages are really lightweight and durable for metal cages. Not much flex and the bottles slide in and out easily, but not so easy they fall out. Function wise they're the best cages I've ever owned, the purple may or may not justify the cost to someone else.
To be fair one was lost on a section called, water bottle graveyard, on stage 5 of the Oregon trail gravel grinder, which was as gnarly a descent as youd expect on a gravel bike.
Fit and finish is fantastic. I opted for the titanium screws as well. Originally got the coated version and then switched it out to the plain finish version which is vastly better.
Liked it enough I bought another set for my road bike and will be my go to cage here on
I use 1 liter bottles - the extra weight makes bottle ejecting more likely. No bottles lost since installing (a few hundred miles of use)
I use 1 liter water bottles and the extra weight makes them more likely to be jettisoned over rough terrain - my bottles have been secure
This is certainly a pricey bottle cage, but it is exquisitely made, as light as carbon, and appears to be nearly indestructible. The Black Cerakote color goes nicely with a black frame. Coordinated aesthetics must be worth a few watts, right? It holds bottles very securely even on rough gravel roads. The mounting height is adjustable, which is nice as well.
These cages work wonderfully. The titanium construction makes them light weight, though some aluminum cages are lighter (looking at you, Supercaz) unlike aluminum, these will not mar up your bottles with black marks. While they are pricey, they sometimes go on sale, so keep your eyes peeled.
A bit of a splurge, but a beautiful accent color to an all black bike
For something as seemingly simple as cages these check all the boxes. First and foremost, secure, you bet, light, absolutely, uber cool aesthetic, unmatched! No one wants to lose a bottle, these are super secure even on gravel, as I had them on my road bike and placed them on the gravel rig as well.
Super light and sturdy and (I believe) beautiful bottle cages that hold bottles firmly. Glad I pulled the trigger once the sale came around. Theyre a perfect match for my titanium Moots RSL.

I really liked the Silca Securo bottle cages for about six months, until I went over a bad bump in the road on a fast descent and my water bottle flew out. Unfortunately I still had a long climb ahead of me and had to make do with the water I had left in my other bottle. I don't know if the bottle cage was always so in-Securo or if the titanium got looser over time.
So far so good. A little pricey, but they look nice on my bike. Hold Camelbak Podium bottles securely on rough pavement & gravel, under hard braking, etc. They don't weigh a whole lot (~30g apiece, I think?), if weight weenie-ism is your jam.
If these fit your budget, I recommend picking some up.
Holds my water bottles great but also holds 19.2oz cans better than plastic bottle holders do
durable and light from road to gravel hold your bottle securely
Bottle cage to last your lifetime.
Love the adjustable mounting points so you can lower the cage to fit bigger bottles if necessary.
They are SUPER lightweight but made out of titanium so you know they are going to functional for a long, long time.
I purchased this item when it was on sale. I order three to go on my Ti Bearclaw Thunderhawk. The cages look great. They also lower the position of the bottles by about 12 inch so that I can carry two 1L water bottles and a partial frame bag. The cages also keep bottles secure over harsh terrain. I have completed two gravel races since this purchase and the bottles never fell out of position. Great product!
Light as a feather, holds bottles well.
Lightweight, stronger than steel. Better looking than carbon. Seamless welds. Great adjustments.
Works great but a little pricey.
Seems like a sturdy cage. Super light.
