I love the 0 float - if you like to feel 1 with the pedals, these are the cleats for you
I went from the yellow to the blue ones (less float) and what a difference (or maybe I waited too long and the yellow ones were beat up??) They are solid, easy to walk around on and last several months. Love those Dura-Ace pedals too!
i over used my last pair. i wore them way down. i got these at a reasonable price. Glad i did!
I like the cleats come with replacement mounting hardware. Keeps shoes like new.
No knockoffs, quality Shimano road cleat. They wear out and need replacing every season if you walk on the road so recommend getting clear covers as well
I like the Shimano SPD-SL cleat & pedal because they give me a large platform reducing hotspots, are easy and reliable to clip in to and out of, and look good to boot. The yellow cleat is my preference, as I like to have some float for comfort. They last a pretty long time, especially if you are conscientious and don't go traipsing around on pavement and gravel. If you do these latter, the yellow base will wear off rather quickly, and then the cleats have too much vertical play for my liking, but remain usable.
If you are using Sidi shoes, make sure to also get the 10mm bolts as the stock bolts are too short.
These are the matching cleats to my pedals
Tip top shape. Have tried some of the aftermarket cleats and had tips break off - these are original Shimano, and the best.
Been using these for years and they've always been solid.
If you have Shimano road pedals then these are the cleats to use. Easy to install. Quick engagement. Only downside is that they're not durable for walking, like at rest stops during rides.
My shoes refuse to have anything other than a Shimano cleat screwed into their soles ...period! The perfect cleat for the perfect pedal.
These are the entry float cleats and they are great! No complaints!
Easy to secure to the sole of the cycling shoe. I have never had issues with these breaking, just normal wear and tear.
The only thing that would be useful is screws that were slightly longer for people who use risers under their cleats.
Good solid cleat, durable and well made. Last forever and easy to change out
Picked up two sets on a great sale. They are really nice when new, but do degrade in time. Depends on how much you walk around in them will determine their live expectancy. I go through a couple a year or when the rubber is worn out.
Exactly what I needed. They last longer than other brands
As far as I am concerned these are the gold standard pedal system. Easy inout and very reliable. When replacing them make sure to torque them down properly or they can squeak.
They are cleats. They are Shimano SPD SL replacement cleats. They work. They last a summer season unless you walk around a lot on them. Nuff said.
I wear the yellow cleats on all of my road cycling shoes. Excellent product at a good price.
