I wipe down my chain and lube with T9 every 100 miles. This keeps the chain quiet and the last chain didn't register any wear after 5000 miles (using the Park CC-2 chain wear tool). After letting the oiled chain set for an hour it gets wiped to remove the excess oil & grime leaving a nice shiny, clean and quiet chain.
I lubricate my chain with T9, but I do this every 150 miles or so. In the past, I used Dumonde Tech chain lube, but my chain got filthy after just a couple of rides. I prefer T9, but I need to apply this more often. It doesn't attract road grime the way Dumonde Tech does.
Used this stuff for 15 years. My go to. Tried others but just come back to this oil. Best for my needs. I do keep a dry lube around for some parts work but for the chain I mainly just use this oil.
I have been using T 9 chain oil for years, I oil my 11 speed chain every 100 to 125 miles and get 6000 plus mile per chain.. It is very flat where I live.
performs as advertised, good product
I have used T-9 for years. It is a great lube that keeps working in the rain but doesn't collect a ton of dirt when it is dry out on the trail.
I have used T9 for the past 15 years on all of my drive train parts. The paraffin base helps keep dust from adhering to the chain which makes it easy to wipe off the chain after each ride.
I try to lube the chain every 100 to 120 miles and I'm getting very good mileage out my chains . unlike any other lube I have ever used in a long time
This is the best chain lube i've used it 3or4 years no problem with it
Used to amateur race and the team would always tell the wrenches If its not Boeing, I'm not going.
Switched to Dumonde Tech for a year a few years ago at the insistence of another rider that it was so great-and it was a big mistake, gunked up my dura-ace drive chain requring a heavy duty tank soaking to get it back to normal.
Remember If it's not Boeing, you are not going.
Boeshield is not recommended for cyclists that spin faster than a turbine engine.
Very clean lube leaving just a bit of waxy deposit. Daily use has really extended both the chain and sprocket life by a significant margin.
Great chain lube
Great chain lube
I've been using Boeshield T9 lubricant for years! Chain runs smooth as butter without attracting tons of debris.
I try to lube the chain every hundred miles or so, T-9 gives crazy good chain Mileage and smooth quiet pedaling
Been using this for years. Used to buy in the 12oz aerosol.Pretty pricey then.Goes on clean, last a long time and I noticed somewhat longer chain life,500 to 600 miles more.
Only chain lube I use!
I've been using Boeshield T9 for years! It doesn't seem to attract dirt and keeps the chain running smoothly. (It was originally developed as a lube by Boeing. Guess if it's good enough for them...)
This isn't the cheapest chain lube, but it keeps my drice train running smooth and quiet regardless of the weather.
I commute to work. Sun, rain even a bit of snow. There's always grit, gravel and road debris being kicked up into my chain, gears and hubs. This lubricant works great. I've tried others, but nothing compares to its lasting power and ease of application. I've trusted T9 for seven years, 16,000 miles and wouldn't use any other.
