For what it does, it's perfect. There are more thorough, sophisticated types of chain-wear tools out there, but this good enough.
Chain stretch is always something that is hard to gauge by just looking at it. This handy little tool is simple to use and does not break the bank. Just follow the instructions in the package and replace your chain when it says to!
No more replacing chains too early, nor too late.
This is a very inexpensive easy to use device to check for chain wear. While it is possible to use a tape measure, Park's chain wear indicator is easier to use and less prone to error
A super easy way to find out if your chain is good conditions to go on. But, because of the brand park tool is a little bit pricey, I found after I purchased this chain wear indicator, another from cyclo tools, half the price of this one.
Great tool in bring back to life vintage road bikes. No more guess work when it comes to the chain. Now I know if the chain needs to be replaced.
No more guesssing about chain wear.
I've always measured chains with a tape measure but I wanted something more precise. This seems like a good tool, it's simple and easy to use. I hate it when I space out and end up needing to buy and new cassette and chain. --Change the chain in time and get a year or more out of cassettes and chainrings.
