Needed a light that would be seen during daytime rides and this light checked all the boxes with modes that work great for that need and of course in darkness. USB rechargeability was another requirement and this light provides easy access and long battery life after recharging. Great light all around.
I ride among a lot of trucks and need to be seen. I have been using the Solas 150 rear light, but wantedneeded something brighter for safety.
The Solas 250 is BRIGHT. in a side by side comparison with the Solas 150, It can be seen from various angles, so I'm feeling the trucks are seeingnoticing me.

It was very visible from a distance which was great but then I couldn't Get it to charge anymore. I tried different charging cords but it still didn't work.
This is the 2nd of these I have bought. The first one stopped charging but I liked it so much I'm giving it another try. Very bright light.

It's bright. It flashes. I have to stop to switch it on but that's OK. It hasn't got nicked yet!
When it works great! Purchased in Dec...no longer holds a charge or works unless constantly plugged in. A little hard to ride like that. LOL! Not worth the money at all. Wish I could return.
