When I needed a replacement mount for my NiteRider I searched in my go-to bike store and found it. All is well now.
Works great for a solid light mount, the light stays aimed and doesn't bounce around when hitting bumps. I had to remove the rubber insulator to fit my fat bars. Other than that, it works great.
Clamp down & don't worry about it moving.
The strap mount included with the light is junk & moves w/each vibration/road bump!
These mount are way easier to secure to handlebars than the default version sold with the Mako models. They fit snug once installed and keep the light pointed in the right direction.
The strap version works better on the handlebar than the screw type especially for the new fatter bars 31.8 and 35
I have used this component for many years and it far the best.
I broke my original mount (it was my fault), bought this to replace it, and it works!
Add this mount on to my back up back (Bianchi Infinito) now I can place my NiteRider 1000 to either bike effortlessly
I got this to make moving my two NiteRider lights between my (4) bikes much easier. It's well made and fits the headlights perfectly; but what else would you expect from NiteRider??
