First tube I tried on my rear tire on my Road Race Bike blew after cycling only 1 1/2 miles. I was angry seeing I was on my way to an appointment. The send tube I'm on seems to be holding air after 2 days of use.
I won't purchase this type of Michelin since the first one blew under 2 miles of cycling. I inspect the whole inside of the tire and notice no kind of puncture. Only switched to this tube because it was cheaper.
I'm going back to the Michelin UL 700 x 18-23 52MM PV. I'll spend the extra Dollars for a lasting inner tube.
I'm a Serious cyclist since March 2011 using my bicycle as my main transportation.
The Airstop tube is a good value for its dependability. I haven't had problems of it tearing at the stem, which seem to be the weak link with some other tubes. I get the expected mileage, with fewer flats than with some of the other tubes.
200 miles no problem. the lack of threads works suberbly on my silca pump. will never get threaded valves again.
Bought several of these tubes, price is right and I've never been wrong with the Michelin man!
I use these for my recreational rides. Very few failures. they are better than average at keeping the pressure.
A bike tube is a bike tube right? Well maybe, I have used many brands and for some reason keep coming back to Michelin A1 Airstop Tubes. I am using them with my
Michelin Pro4 Service Course Tires. About 400 miles on them so far no flats or problems...
rails to trails riding 120miwk
Retains air like none other. Best I've used. Highly recommended.
I have been very happy with the airstop by michelin. It rides exceptionally well, is almost as light as a lot of race only tubes, without being as prone to puncture as the lighter tubes!
I use the 40mm valve stem for my standard wheels. Performs as expected.
Put them in no problems at all
These are great tire tubes that last. They hold air a lot longer than other tubes. I had a Specialized tube in one wheel and a Michelin A1 Airstop in the other. The Specialized tube would lose air after a few weeks without use, while the Michelin would still be at the original inflation level.
Used continental before and had too many flats, no flats since I changed to Michelin.
I love this tube compared to factory originals. Stem is solid, not flimsy. It works well with my pump.
This tube seems to be true to size and has held up well.
I am using it in a road bike riding using a hwy road tires hold great to the floor
and the tubes fell great smooth and flexible
Picked up a metal sliver 20 x .5 mm. Didn't notice it on the ride, but the tire was down to 60 lbs pressure (from 110) the next morning
purchased two and both had flats in first 10 days
Great training tube, I' ve had no problems and less than normal flats running this through the summer
This tube last well and have never had a leak at the stem. Worth the money!
