Had an old pump, head was loose this was the perfect fix.
This the 3rd pump head I have had on my Lezyne gravel pump. The one it comes with is a crappy version of its predecessor which worked well. Not sure why Lezyne chose to "upgrade" their new pumps with it. Then I bought the presta/schrader head. It's the same as the one that comes with it except the schrader. Neither screws on/off easily. Sometimes they even unscrew the presta valve. So, I installed this one. It works as well as can be expected from a flip locking lever.
Easy Peezy installation. Easy to use as a slot that connects to the bottom of the base for storage.
Use the presta side only.
Much better than the screw on pump head that came on my Lezyne floor pump. Less time consuming just flick lock and pump.
The included valve on the lezyne pumps offers a secure, threaded connection. However, on some inner tubes this will cause whatever the core thing is called to disconnect, resulting in exceedingly rapid deflation during detachment. This can be a very frustrating experience when you are trying to leave your house with fully inflated tires. Enter the dual valve: no longer must you inspect and then unscrew and "flip" the provided valve pump head! Simply put the right thing on the right thing and pump away! Gone are the days of trepidation detachment: simply release the lever and whatever that threaded valve piece is stays where it belongs: in the fucking inner tube. Home run Lezyne!
I bought the Lezyne gravel pump and was not aware of the screw on pump head. I was very disappointed until I heard about this Lezyne Dual Valve Pump Head and it has made a world of difference. I love this pump now and the new pump head makes it simple to attach. Why don't they just make the pump with this or include. It's a game changer.
I bought these dual valve to replace the existing screw-in valve supplird with my inflator. It fits well and is easy to use and practical. I wish it could have a bleeding mechanism and be able to be removed easier because you lose pressure when you try to remove it.
The valve on my old Joe Blow pump self destructed. Seemed a pity to dispose of an otherwise great pump. The Lezyne valve gave the old pump a brand new life.
use it for Presta valve road and mountain bike tires, also, I use the schrader valve connector for car and camper tire adjustments.
I purchased this to replace a screw on head on my Lezyne floor pump. It was very easy to install - no directions needed. The dual valve pump head with the flip lever is well built and much more easier to use.
No instructions on how to use it! You pump it up till it reaches high pressure then you hear a click and then it shows you the tire pressure ! Then you can pump it up to what ever! I do indeed like this pump head! easy on and off!
Built strong but does have a different pump feel compared to original head
This is the best pump head i have used. It secures to the valve superbly. When removed, releases the air only from the pump not the tube. Well built material . Works well with Lezyne pump which i have. Highly recommended.
Yes, it will likely NOT fit your existing hose, you will have to go DIY on it to make it fit.
Once you do, you will congratulate yourself on an excellent choice. Both the schrader and presta ports fit well on the valve, makes topping off the tire pressure a breeze. I find the two dedicated ports, one for presta and one for schrader far superior to heads with a single port that claim to fit both. The one I had one for some time, and while it worked ok, it always needed extra fiddling to make it work. Glad to be done with that.
The ID for the schrader valve was slightly small.
My pump head broke. I needed a new one and saw this one. The head is well made and give a positive seal on both presta and schrader valves. I used this with a non-Lezyne pump, so I had to trim the hose to fit the head, but that is minor.
First, do not count on hose on your pump fitting onto the pump head without work. Our pump, a Bontrager Charger, uses a smaller inside diameter hose than the Lezyne Head is made for. Took a few minutes of work to make the head fit the Bontrager hose.
Once the head is installed, it works great. It does not compromise its utility by making one hole do two jobs inflating presta and shrader valves. Each type of valve has a hole in the head that works perfectly for it. The handle is stiff in action but workable.
Best dual-valve pump head I've tried!
Ive changed maybe 100 tires in my day and inflated maybe 1000. This horrible product bent stems on 4 of 5 tubes I inflated. After it actually broke the last one I threw it in the trash. Love Lezyne mini pumps but obviously not this. Look elsewhere.
I prefer this head over the screw-on head that came on my Lezyne floor pump. This type eliminates the occasional accidental unscrewing of the priests valve core when removing after inflation. Another bonus this is quicker to use. On and off in a few seconds.
Needed a replacement for my Ryobi cordless inflater tool. Worked awesome! Now we can leave the old floor pump at the house )
