This is a game changer - it is extremely helpful to know cars are approaching- absolutely do not want to ride without it now ! Get one ASAP
I actually had someone approach me asking what type of light I had so he could get one. It's the first one he had seen that was visible in daylight.

...it's very helpful especially making you aware of vehicles behind you when paired with the right garmin computer...alerts you and drivers behind you because of the red flash it emits
Audible and visual feedback well in advance of cars approaching from behind, reduces stress and need to crank your neck to look behind.
I absolutely love the Varia. I've been using it for over a month now and wouldn't want to live without it. The light is super bright and the radar works well!!

Light is supper bright and is working great as advertised
obviously tells you when cars are approaching so you can move over, but especially helpful on the down hill so you can take curves wide when the coast is clear.
I use the Garmin Varia RTL515 on all my road bikes so I know when traffic is approaching from behind. It has made cycling safer, not only for me, but for the entire group.
