Its a comfortable strap that you wont notice once its on. 95% of the time it does exactly what youd expect. Occasionally you get drop outs where the HR is reporting numbers that are clearly not correct but its probably a few seconds before it corrects itself.
Products works great with a few small issues. Pairing the heater rate monitor was not an issue. After the chest strap is washed, it requires to be paired again. Approximately once every 50 hours or so of riding, the heart rate is lost on the Garmin computer and one has to stop and go through the computer to re-find the HR sensor.
Overall a great addition to the Garmin 1030 and 820 computers. With the heart rate and zone function, we tend to push a bit harder on our rides. Nice to study the overall aerobic and anaerobic training portions of a ride that the HR provides through a Garmin.
The HRM works well mostly, but sometimes it stops in the middle of a ride or doesn't properly pick up my HR before starting. It seems less consistent than even some of the old school HRMs, but at least it is machine washable.
The Garmin HRM provides me with constant feedback concerning my heart rate and effort on the road bike. It works well.
Worked well at first, but after 4 months it quit working
Use on Bluetooth spin bikes in the gym and my road bike and always syncs up quickly to get an accurate read. Same comfort as the ant only strap.
Purchased after I dropped my Wahoo HRM on concrete and it broke. Definitely the most comfortable HRM I have used.
Love this. Pairs easily with 830 but having trouble syncing with 530
They last just long enough to get through the warranty.
This was a replacement for one included with my edge 1030. It became very erratic. This seems to be higher quality and reads accurately.
Works perfectly with both Bluetooth and ANT. Fits well. Nothing more to say!
Like the update and great fit
I like the detachable module that allows rinsing the strap. Its flexible and easy to wear for long periods. Having Blue Tooth is good too.

I like this better with how the strap connects with a Loop, the. The buttons to attach on wahoo I dont like as much, but on the wahoo it is nice it attaches right in front. The Garmin seems slightly more comfortable. But they both work fine.
