I have to use chamios cream or else, This is one of the BEST !
I don't really like using chamois cream because as I am applying it the stuff tries to go everywhere or feels weird. Buttonhole cream stays on better and has a pleasant smell which doesn't hurt. If you are prone to post ride irritation I would strongly advise you to try this product.

This is a smooth creamy product and not a waxy, greasy or thick camp. Easy application and lasts. Launders out and doesn't break down the pads.
Chamois creme seems to work as you would imagine. It does smell of Peppermint Patties, which presumably is not to everybody's taste.

I've been using ButtonHole for a couple of years and it has made a world of difference for comfort.
I like the Button Hole better than Assos and it's much more cost-effective too.
