I notice it does take a little while to break in to fit regular water bottles appose to the elite water bottles which are a little slimmer. Other than that, no complaints. Love the looks of them.
A little tight with specialized bottles. But that may be good for my new gravel bike. Would buy again. Looks great.
I purchased two of these for my gravel bike, and will typically ride with 24oz bottles on longer rides. Even in bumpy conditions and on rides on singletrack, these kept the bottles in place while still allowing for easy access.
I've seen some reviews that said these cages were too tight. I haven't found that to be the case using Elite Fly bottles, but I haven't tried with other brands.
Sturdy with decent balance of flex and stiffness. Only took a couple of rides for for 25 ml bottles to easily slide in and out.
I went for the plastic over carbon based on cost - the price premium for the latter seeming too high to justify. At first, these bottle cages were so stiff that I found them almost unusable on my road bike, but with a couple of months' use, they have loosened to close to 'just right'. The are light weight, low cost, look ok, certainly do a good job of firmly gripping, and seem durable. The fit with my insulated bottles (podium) is imperfect, but not terrible. Fits ordinary bottles just fine.
FWIW, the apparent loosening is real, not just perception. The 2d bottle cage, which holds my seldom used backup water bottle, is as stiff as ever, while the primary one has eased up.
Easy to use, simple design, and bottles stay secure. Highly recommended
nice light weight and look good on the mountain bike, large insulated bottles sometimes fall out of inferior cages while hitting roots and rocks, So far it has done great, once i turned it right side up. actually worked for a ride upside down, thought I broke it when bottle didn't fit quite right. da
Third set of these cages over the last 10 years. They are light, durable, and hold bottles tight even on rough terrain.
I have these on two bikes and they have provided years of service. Securely holds camelback bottles on rough roads.
For the price this cage works well.
These are simple plastic cages. They are reasonably lightweight and look good. They grab the bottle snugly and that's good if you're using these for MTB, riding gravel or on bumpy roads. You can spend a lot more on a bottle cage but you won't get any better functionality than these provide. The snug fit could be an issue if you are challenged at quick bottle removal and replacement but it's not a big deal.
Holds the 25 oz bottles secure on on of my road bikes and they look pretty good doing it. Light weight and the money was "right"
These guys grip the bottle well but take the printing off the bottles along the way.
Great looking and functional. Minor weight difference from a carbon cage for fraction of the price. Looks great on my Emonda. Highly recommend.
Elite bottle cages are great. They hold the bottle securely, look good and are lightweight. There are many color options so easy to find something that goes with your bike.
Holds bottles firmly without any marks on the bottle
To safely secure my water bottles with ease both inserting and removing while in motion.
They are light and secure. I have them on 3 bikes. Never lost a bottle!
I bought two and it is solid lightweight construction. Easy to get in and out but holds the firmly. I use it on my road bikes. Ive hit bumps in the road and it did not pop out.
On a race course that was littered with lots of spilled water bottles, I had no issues with mine as this held it very well. Easy to get it in and out of too.
