Consistent product, good value - always in stock.
Nothing fancy, but good quality rubber and with removable valve core.
For training mile this is a good dependable tube, if like me you love the supplier feel of ultra light or latex tubes carrying one of these bad boys is must have for your flat pack, these tend to hold pressure well even then holes or cuts in the tire allow thinner tubes to blow out. In any case always carry an extra tube on training rides and a patch kit.
a tube is a tube but these slide in easy, and have minimal air bleed at high pressure, I run about 110psi and these only bleed about 1 to 2psi every 2 weeks
I like these tubes and keep a couple on hand for those inevitable punctures. High quality and durable.
Everything you want. Easy to work with, a nice trade-off between weight and durability. Love 'em.
I use these on all my bikes and I can because they fit such a wide variety of rim/tyre sizes. I don't care much for weight, I prefer these thicker, tougher tubes.
The only tubes I've used that have never had a defect around the valve stem or suffered a design failure. Thick enough that they'll resist some thorn and glass penetration, patch up and go back to work nicely.
Not knowing much about clinchers (tubular user for the past 3 decades) picked up a couple sets of these tubes. Now after some use there are only 2 regrets. 1st should have placed a larger order at the price purchased. 2nd the threaded valves will be tough on the Silca Super Pista chuck gasket. Running as low as 90psi on a set of Cont 4 Season 25mm have not experienced any pinch flats. Road conditions at that psi were gravel to broken, rough pavement. Butyl unlike latex rubber holds the psi for more than a day. The minimal weight gain for these tubes is fine for training wheels and for just cruising.
This is an affordable nice quality tube. I use them on both my bikes, plus as carry along spares.
These tubes hold air very well. I have tried many different types at various price levels...these are best.
Been using Continental tubes for 10 years they work very well and have always been durable
Only 300 miles of use. No issues yet. Paired up with a set of Conti 4 Seasons 700c x 25mm mounted up on the Wabi Classic FGSS. 1st set of clincher tires and tubes used in 3 decades. Bit clueless regarding today's clinchers & tubes. Raced on Conti Sprinter 250s for several season. Enough trust with the Conti brand to stick with them. So far, riding on gravel roads to stretches of silk smooth road & everything in between the tubes have performed as hoped for. No flats, relatively light for butyl. Running 95-100 psi front and 100-105 psi on rear tire. Only niggle is the threaded stems will probably wear away at the old Silca Super Pista gasket quicker than the smooths on the Sprinters. Gold pricing was a very good price. Now that I've stocked a few spares, will need to source out a few spare chuck gaskets.
Love'em! havent had a flat and hold true to the name. Looking for tubes these are it. About 3 months no flats.
I have bought all manner of brands of tubes. They are all reasonably good and the Continentals are no exception. I just have had really good luck finding these at a good price so I stock up on them when they are on sale.
Good tube. Does the job
Picked these up after running ultra lights that kept blowing out on any rides over 10 miles. These tubes are very durable especially at the stem. They also do an excellent job of holding pressure between rides. 400 miles and still running with no blow outs on my first set. Great high temperature tube also.
If it works for me at 250 lbs it must be good 35 mile 3 times a week
Sometimes its the little things that differentiate one product from the next. In the case of this lowly innertube, its the valve that I like. They just work better than other brands I've tried. They don't stick, they don't leak, they don't come apart. Period.
Continental makes great products and this road race tube is no different. These tubes are consistently very high quality and reliable... no muss, no fuss! Easy to mount and last a long time... I highly recommend them. I supposed you could get a cheaper or lighter tube, but its not worth the peace of mind. You won't be disappointed...
