Used it on Ride the Rockies 2014 and Triple Bypass in CO. Had few flats yet this year but may use a heavier tire with some slime next year
Bought these for use on new wheels, they only loose a few pounds between rides and some of that is filling the air hose to the gauge. No problems with flats yet but that's more a function of the tires. They seem to me a good tube
Excellent tubes, very light, a little expensive. Will keep looking for a cheaper vendor.
These tubes a consistently good. The valve on them are the best I've seen on any tube. Some valves can't handle pump heads well, but these valves are outstanding in that department.
Love these tubes. I don't worry about flat based on the tubes I use, tires should be the line of defense for flats. I love how light they are and hold pressure well. I usually have to top off the pressure every third ride or so. I usually wait until they go on sale.
Been using these consistently for years. The quality out of the box is reliable - didn't find that to be the case with others. When bought in quantity on sale, the price premium is negligible.
A quality light-weight tube. Does what it should. Not stupid expensive.
The only potential negatives to me are the price and the box size. The Vittoria tube is very similar, cheaper, and comes in a small enough package to fit in your jersey pocket.
I have trained and raced with the Conti Race Lights for years. Over the past year or so, something drastic in terms of the quality has changed! As many of the reviews below indicate, these tubes consistently fail at the valve connection. I have personally experienced this same defect no less than 7x over the past few months. Besides the frustration associated with changing multiple tubes during a training ride, it's EXPENSIVE! My suggestion, save your money & look into Michelin.
These are great lightweight tube with a smooth valve stem in extended length for easy fill
I use these tubes in my race wheels (Zipp 404 front, 808 rear w/ extender). Only ever had one issue in 2019 IMLP when I ran over a piece of wire in the road that flatted both front and rear leaving a nice sized indication in both tires (thankfully I was at mile 101). I don't think any tube would have survived that. These are dependable tubes that have served me well for many years and races,
I like lighter tubes and I run wider tires on my road bike. I have had trouble with latex tubes, so I stick to the regular rubber tubes. I just don't have any issues with these tubes and their reliability.
Tubes are fantastic! Installed with ease and perform super!
These are always consistently a great choice in tubes!!!
These are always consistently a great choice in tubes!!!
While not the lightest tube, the Race Light, has the advantages of weighing less than standard tubes, and, this is crucial, seems to hold air pressure as well as or better than standard tubes.
i needed a handful of inner tubes just so i dont have to go to a shop and i got 6 because there was an extra discount on orders over 5, great deal, would buy again
Great option to be your second tube, it takes up 50% less space than the regular tube, perfect for the jersey pocket!!
Light and durable
I ride 25 on front and a 28 rear and can ride 2 weeks before having to pump them back up to 100 psi
My go to tube.
