I am judging by me experience with the 4000s, 25c. I took the rr out of service after about 5000 miles. It still had some life in it, but I didn't want to risk a flat in winter weather. This is the longest lifespan I've experienced from a high-performance clincher.
I have been using these tires for a lot of years and am really satisfied with them. Very few flats and very good mileage out of a set. No complaints from me so I will stick with them.

Great tire as continentals are. Switched from 23 to 25 cm and the ride is smoother, with same great handling. Glad I went to the 25cm size. Cant go wrong with Continental tires.

These tires are a proven product. Work well in the wet as well as the dry. Wear well and have a positive feel.
I have used Gran Prix 4000 for years. They have lasted much longer than Gatorskins and have been wonderfully free of defects, unlike other brands that I have tried. They roll well too.
