3000+ Miles 0 Flats!
This is my second set of this tire. Absolutely love them. My guess is 5,000 miles and NEVER a single flat. That is very hard to beat. I absolutely love these tires. Use them all year around in hot, cold, dry and wet and they are great. Excellent traction in ALL conditions.
In 17,000 mile riding with Gators I've had four flats.Two of them were dry wall screw in side,Staple T50 deflected through side wall.
So far it's a great tire. It's so much thicker and more durable than my last set of tires. I was a little worried that since the rubber is thick and stiff that it would be difficult to put on, but we had the tire on in less than 10 minutes.

Great tires look good and fill good on the bike
Put in 4000 miles of solo riding during the COVID summer. Had one flat when I picked up a staple. These are no harder to mount than other tires I've tried, and definitely easier than some.
For riding a reliable option that feels smooth on the road.
Used for road riding. Very quiet. There is nothing I don't like about these tires.
Wears well
I have used this tire for many years and it does a fine job. Flat protection is great though it does not have the ride of thinner tires.
Many training miles only one flat due to piece of metal that nothing would of stopped. Also used 28mm set on road bike in several cyclo cross races with lots of gravel,rocks etc no problems at all.
Good looking tire that is replacing a worn out Hard Case. Snug fit on my Mavic rim, but not so much that I couldn't set the bead by hand. Rode 32 miles on it today. Rolls smoothly enough )
I'm 65 years old and weight in at a svelte 190 (but down from and even sveltier 220). Have had no flats with about 700 miles on them. I use this for the back tire and the regular Gatorskin for the front tire. This seems to be a good combination for me.
I use this tire for commuting and long-distance riding. It's a bit heavy but offers decent flat protection, good wear as well as handling well even in the rain.
these tires do exactly what they say they do miles and miles of flat free riding. Not only that they ride well. What more could you ask for in a tire. My bikes wont ever have anything else.
I like these tire for where I live. My roads are not always in good shape from winter. I get anywhere from 3500 to 4000 miles on thes tires.
