I commute tofrom work and do 2-3 x 15-20 mile ridesweek
Great tire. The best for all around riding and not having to worry about getting a flat. Roads in Utah are terrible in the spring after the winter months and I've never had issues with Hardshells
Gatorskin Hardshell tires are not the lightest tire....but they perform amazing for everyday riding, training and commuting. Hard Ride....but hugs the pavement ..... Cornering.....fast, tight turns.....no problem. Worth every $$ spent on these tires.
Have been using gator hard shell tires for over 2 years . Very good grip on the roads and excellent flat protection.
Great puncture protection and amazing durability. I usually get about 6K miles per set in the Arizona heat.
One set of tires has run over 2 years commuting every single day all year round on glass ridden and who knows what else Portland bridges and downtown streets without a single flat. Luck, maybe? But I'll attribute it to the tire. Running 25mm.
I have used Gatorskins for years and they are very durable.
I've been riding Continental Gators for many years, and after a couple hundred miles I can say that the my new Gator is everything my old one was and lighter and better looking too.
Love +++! Have used for years and will continue!
These tires are great easy to put on and a joy to ride on
Hands down test best tires I ride and now the only ones....fast last thousands of miles and no flats
I had 6000 flat free miles on one set.
Very reliable and nice ride
This is the only tire I train on. We have a lot of glass and thorns in SoCAL so this is the best way to prevent a flat.
Agree with other reviews stating that this is a reliable, puncture-resistant tire. I've used these tires for a long time with no problems. Only issue - hard to mount when new.
when my tires become slick I replace them with new ones!!!
They take the road divots well...Great now for Fall road biking!!
I use these tires for everyday commutes and hard training
My new Gator Hardshell tires are the best set of tires I've ever used on my Trek 5500 road bike. I have over 20,000 miles on my bike and gone thru a variety of road bike tires. None are better than the Hardshells
rear wheel, it is bullit-proof.
