The only reason I gave this tube a 4 star is the fact that my pump seems to not fit the valve stem like it should. A little tight. Also the tube seems to be a little large, but it does fit in the tire with some to spare!
I use these tubes on my touring recumbent. I like that they are very airtight and easy to fit inside the tire.
I installed these tubes in 28mm x 20 Continentals on 406mm wheels. The tires are a tight fit so there is danger of pinch flats during installation. I tried the schrader valve version of this tube which bunched badly and almost could not be installed without being cut when seating the tire. This presta valve tube fits the 406 rim much better and it is easy to avoid a pinch flat.
I have a folding bike which I love riding. But here in the desert SW there must be many sharp needles from cactus on the roads because I have a great deal of flats. And in the heat here in the summer it does not work to patch the holes. Therefore, I have a ready supply of these tubes on hand and have used at least 3-4 so far this year!
This tube is so much better than what I can buy locally for same price. What I specifically like is the small ring that screws into the bottom of the valve and holds it in place. No such thing on the other tubes from here. And your expedient service is so appreciated.
I am using these tubes in a 451 front recumbent wheel. They are supposed to fit both 406 (BMX-sized) and 451 (slightly larger) wheels. Installation into a 451 wheel is a little tricky because you need to stretch the tube to fit. Other than that, great tube, no issues. I've always been fond of Conti tubes.
This is just a basic inner tube that works well with my 20 inch narrow presta wheels.
Put them on my Greenspeed and I'm very happy with them
It was easy to get the stem off and add slime. After repairing the front tire my son we out for a ride and rode over goatweed thorns sticking to the rear tire. I am glad that I purchased a couple of extra tubes. With the slime added they should last a long time.
I regret to say that these tubes, while solid in every way, have a poor fitment in my wheels. I purchased the smallest size for an ISO406 rim and found the tubes to be greatly oversized in their diameter. I packed these in the rims and spaced them out as even as possible and still have creases or folds in 3 or 4 spots on each wheel. I am disappointed with the fitment and will not be surprised the first time I get a pinch flat, but I will have a few months until the snow melts before I can test these guys out to determine whether that will truely be an issue.
