With a pin power exceeding 350kgf and four safety sections to prevent false release, it's no wonder YBN has a patent on the design. Add in chromium carbide hardening for extraordinary longevity (as long as the chain's life) and this little link successfully punches far above its weight class.
Compatible with all 12 speed chains except SRAM flattop road; replace link after five uses or when chain is replaced, whichever occurs first.

Since I wax my chains I do open and close the master links on my 12-speed Shimano chains more frequently. So far I have used the Shimano links probably longer than recommended - so these more affordable links are a great replacement. No issues, no differences to Shimano. I use them for road and mountain biking.
