Description

The Aspire Four Sock is the perfect sock for the serious cyclist.

Swiftwick bills this as the most technologically advanced sock on the market, and while we might not be able to speak to that, they are pretty fantastic socks. Thin and lightweight, the Aspire is perfect for use under snug cycling shoes (or running shoes if that's more your thing) and the level of compression over the foot, ankle, and Achilles tendon aids performance and recovery. Another unique quality of these socks is their lack of a toe seam using linked toe technology, which eliminates bunching and improves comfort. As with Swiftwick's other socks, the Aspire's durability, breathability, and moisture wicking are also top of the line.

The Aspire Four Compression Sock features a four inch crew length cuff.

Great sock, especially the high-viz yellow
by EmilyS
North Carolina

Bought these for my husband, and the high-viz yellow helps me see him way down the road in front of me. The white ones I also bought are hard to keep clean. Didn't take him long to get some bike grease on them, and they tend to gray in the wash. For this reason I recommend the high-viz or black over the white. Nice quality and fit!

Very comfortable

I've had some original Performance Swiftwick pairs for years - they seem indestructible. These are a little thinner for warmer days, feel great. Yellow ones are great for visibility. Hopefully will also last, but haven't had them long enough.

Just right.

Asked for and received as a gift. Not too thin, not to thick, not too high, not too low. Most comfortable bicycle socks I have ever worn, in many many years of riding. I have worn them on every ride since I got them, in rain, heat, and on the trainer. Had never heard of the company before, but if the one pair I currently have is the norm, I have no reason to look anywhere else for bicycle socks again. I will be buying more of these, and looking at the company for colder weather sock options as well.

The blue pair I own are gorgeous, but agree with another post that some more aggressive bright color options would be welcomed.

This sock feels as good when you put it on as when you take it off after a century ride. Feet seem to stay fresh the whole ride. Great Sock

Simply the Best

Think Tina Turner...Swiftwick socks are hands down "simply the best" cycling socks you can buy. These socks are going to last forever. Got both blue colours. Think I prefer the seven's over the 4's

Nice Support For The Achilles
by JoeS

I damaged my left Achilles decades ago. Whenever I ride a bike, I need to be mindful of crank speed as higher RPMs will cause my ankle to ache for hours if not days. I'm 65, for context, and I wore these and the support is amazing. I was cranking over 100 RPM and had no pain or residual discomfort at all. Amazing support.

Very comfortable but expensive.

These are great bike socks. I've been wearing them a lot. They provide very mild compression, but they are fully breathable and fit very well into my bike shoes. Only problem is they are super expensive. Look for a sale.

by Dhagey

Whether Biking or Running these socks are extremely comfortable with great wicking quality, snag proof, and keep their elasticity. We put in over 5000 miles a year and the socks are still in great condition.

these are the most comfortable athletic socks I have. I use them for biking, golfing and walking. The compression makes my feet feel good while active. No more seams or excess material hanging and annoying. Colors are very visual and add to the fun.

Great sock! Very comfy.

OK, I've never gone in for cycling socks before. I just thought they were over-priced compared to the more generic, thin, running-type socks I could buy for a lot less money at the local sporting goods store. Yes, I was wrong. WAY wrong! These are very, very comfortable. Sweat seems to dry a lot faster. They are supportive without being constrictive. And from what I can tell, they stand up to the washing machine a lot better than the mostly cotton socks I was wearing previously.

A good fit in riding shoes and a great choice of colors
by GAry

I ride 6000 miles a year in cold and hot weather plus various areas of North America.

These socks handle perspiration well, don't fall down and leave room for my feet to move in my shoes while still

supported well by my riding shoe adjustments.

I bought a pair of shoes with the round dial tightness adjuster.

Best shoe investment I've made particularly if you have any foot issues.

These combined with these socks are a sure fire winner!

Best sock on the market! Just the right amount of compression and and support without being too restrictive. Keeps you dry and cool. The colors are an added plus. They also last a good while. I've had some for over a year and the compression and elasticity is still holding. They're a bit on the pricey side for socks but they're worth every penny.

Good compression sock with mid length.

These socks are fairly tight fitting but they are a compression style sock. Not too high. They wash well and seem more durable after several washes versus other cycling socks. They seem to hold color well.
