Wireless shifting and the best hydraulic disc braking anywhere, plus revolutionary eTap shift logic. What more could you want?
Anyone who spends long days in the saddle knows that hand positioning is integral to bike control and overall fit. That's why SRAM designed their Reach Adjust technology, which allows the rider to easily customize the lever angle for maximum one-finger control. Even if you have hands too big or too small for traditional levers, the new Rival eTap AXS cockpit can make you feel comfortable and in control.
If you've never had SRAM hydraulic disc brakes before, you're in for a real treat. They're like what you always thought brakes should feel like: smooth, powerful, and simple. No matter the weather, this braking system will stop you when you want to be stopped. It's really nice to not have to worry about your brakes, and SRAM hydraulic brakes have your back.
What truly makes Rival eTap AXS shift/brake levers revolutionary is the eTap wireless electronic shifting. Unlike any other shift system in its class, eTap precision allows the rider to shift up and down with clean, indexed movements that won't get wonky after a little rain, a stretched cable, or a bumpy road. eTap provides that sweet shift feeling you've only experienced on "new-bike-day" with a mechanical system. The only downside to eTap is that you'll never want to go back to mechanical shifting...
At the core of this system is the software that makes it run right. SRAM's proprietary AXS technology allows the rider to see battery status, change component behavior, personalize controls, get maintenance reminders, and update firmware, all within the convenient AXS Mobile App. Did you ever think you were going to program your derailleur and shifters while you were drinking coffee on the couch before a Sunday morning ride? Yeah, we didn't either, but we're not complaining. That sounds super cool. Welcome to the future!

Bought these to build my road bike and replace the 105 groupset on it. I paired it with force rear derailleur to build a 1x road bike. shift is precise and fast. The touch point and ergo is great. The brakes work very well but one of the caliper seized 6 month into it. One of the piston stuck. It otherwise works very well and not have to run wires was great.
