As soon as the temperature moderates and the snow and ice are gone, I will give a try. The first pair I received had were a mismatched pair in the original factory packaging, one medium and one extra large. The replacements were timely sent and I am anxious to try. They fit well and appear to provide very good thermal protection, but actual use will be a better determinant.
These gloves are a really nice combination of warm and dextrous. It's amazing how light and thin they are for how well they hold warmth. In a bunch of ~2 hours rides around freezing or a little below, I've found that my fingers start out a little cold, then warm up nicely as I ride. The palm is nice and grippy, though it doesn't breathe very well, so my hands get a bit clammy on that side towards the end of a ride. Other reviews have noted that the palm fabric is not waterproof, which is a downside, but I haven't yet tested the gloves in really wet weather.
The fit is good overall. I have a hand circumference of 22.5 inches and ordered a medium, and it's just slightly tight, but the fabric stretches nicely and the dexterity is fantastic. The thumb feels a little short, but I know all hands are different.
Overall, I'm really satisfied with the gloves. The lining is still a really soft fleece, which surely will roughen a bit with more wear, but for now they feel luxurious and have served me well down to the upper 20deg.
