Slime Tube Sealant is a non-aerosol environmentally-friendly liquid sealant that is injected into your tubes to prevent or repair flats. It is a blend of fibers, polymers, and binders that seal up punctures up to 1/8".
Slime is best used in tubes with a removable valve core because the sealant tends to clog valves. One 8-oz bottle fills 2 mountain bike tires.
The inner tube formulation should not be used in a tubeless tire. Slime sealants are designed to treat tread area punctures only and should not be used to repair sidewall punctures, snake bites, rim spoke punctures, or gashes from metal or glass.

First off the product says it will last 2 years in the inner tube. I would assume then you need to toss the tube and replace it.
I had a leaky tube that I just could not find the leak. I added Slime to the inner tube and it has held air ever since.
