Train for tough hill climbs without leaving home. The Saris Climbing Riser Block is a solid, three-level design that lifts your front tire to simulate climbing workouts at a comfortable-to-you height. When you feel the need to sweat it out on your favorite rear wheel-mounted trainer, go for the gold. Go for the top-of-the-line climbing block.
The Saris Wheel Climbing Block works to raise your front wheel when your bicycle is installed on a rear wheel-mounted trainer to simulate normal riding positioning. Three different positions simulate realistic hill climbs of 2.1 inches, 2.7 inches, or 3.1 inches. If that's not challenging enough, double up and stack two blocks for an even more intense session.
The Saris Wheel Climbing Block works to raise your front wheel when your bicycle is installed on a rear wheel-mounted trainer to simulate normal riding positioning. Thanks to an injection-molded construction, this riser block is virtually indestructible. Train hard with the ultimate in-home workouts.

I already use two SARIS Climbing (adjustable levels) Blocks with my SARIS trainer. I wanted something a bit more challenging/sweat producing and got a 3rd climbing block. It WORKS, by adjusting the levels, you can produce a REALLY STEEP climb. I usually go 30 minutes with the double and 20 minutes with the triple, and 10 mi cool down with the double.
It does an ok job of holding the front tire in position while on the trainer. It can shift when really stomping on a climb, but is relatively easy to shift back while riding. Some folks might just use a stack of phone books, but these are obsolete and hard to find these days.
