Nice form factor with good battery life.

I've been using a daytime flasher on all of my rides for the past 20 years on NYC and LA roads (plus desert, mountains, rural roads) because of the one superpower all riders share: invisibility.

This is the light I wish had been available for all those years. It gets attention without being obnoxious (but even obnoxiously bright lights still won't get the attention of "special" drivers), the battery is good for an all day ride, it's light weight, and works in the rain.

My only criticism is the vague solution Ravemen chose to indicate remaining battery life. This is a daytime light and the dim red low power indicator light on the power button is essentially invisible in daylight. ?!? LEDs are very cheap, especially the green ones that many other manufactures use the indicate a full battery.

Overall I really like this light and recommend it.

Clean look with great side lighting

First of all, don't let the 4 stars fool you, I really do like this light. If anything, it may be a 4.3 star product at very fair price (but not quite a "steal"). That said, what I like about this light is that it is small, light, well made, uses USB C, locks in very tightly to your genuine Garmin mount, and locks your Garmin (mine is a 1030 Plus) tightly into the light. What I also really love about this light is the side lighting. I run a Niterider 1100 OLED as my main light and use this as a "flasher." So, what's really nice is that I can run my Niterider on the High or Turbo setting (which is constant and does not flash) and then run this on the flash setting... making me that much more noticeable at night.

Finally, as far as my critique, I would say that because the FR160 is short, my Garmin Edge 1030 + hangs out over it and then obscures the controls. The light control on this is on the reverse side of the LED light... so, when you have your Garmin Edge mounted on top, the button is really obscured. What would be awesome is if this integrated with the Garmin head unit and you could turn it on or off with your Garmin... but, alas, you cannot. None the less, at this price point, it's still a very nice addition to your main high powered bike light and it really does "grab" onto your Garmin and Garmin Out Front mount... so, I therefore do recommend it!

Convenient mount for being seen in regular light situations

Understand that this does not work well as a dedicated light in dark conditions, rather works as a light to help you be seen in early morning - normal light conditions. Mounts very securely to a Garmin or Sram for Garmin mount, and then the computer simply clicks in on top of it. Very secure and provides a significant LED signature to help you be seen. First charge takes a long time but after that goes much more quickly. Happy with the ease of use, choice of lights (blink, etc.) and quality of the product.

Nice light - light, high visibility, long endurance
by N Virginia Rider

This is a daytime visibility light, not an illumination device - but it is highly visible, light, has multiple "flash" modes, and lasts during long rides. Easily charged by USB-C, this waterproof device attaches directly on the underside of my Garmin out-front mount. There is also an option to attach the light directly on your Garmin (uses the standard quarter turn mount) but I read some complaints that it marred the Garmin so I avoided that. Rides so far have only been 3 hours or less, but expect this would likely stay bright for a century ride at most paces.

Visibility at a savings

This serves its purpose to alert drivers on side roads and oncoming that you are there. Let's face it, colorful kits do not get the attention alone of a cager but combine it with a good visible front light and they notice you better. This particular light is very well made and the fact it comes Garmin connecting ready is a big plus. For Wahoo cycling computers you can purchase an adapter for dollars I believe. I do agree with others you should be able to get the Garmin connecting version or Wahoo without having to buy the adapter but it's not my call or company. What I can say is, it is one of the more economical visibility lights that also works well. I have not timed the charge but several rides of about an hour for maybe 4-5 on a blinking pattern. I wished it was more but no deal breaker. Do yourself a favor and buy one.

Good for daytime rides which is all I do

I really like this light for daytime riding which is all I do.

If you get one, be aware that it can be attached to your Garmin mount in two different ways, either on the bottom of the mount or sandwiched between your Garmin and the top mount.

I wasn't aware of this until a riding buddy pointed it out.

Before that I had a lot of trouble because I was trying to mount it on the bottom without realizing I was holding the light upside down for that method. A senior adult moment!

Great Daytime Warning Light
by NorthNJBiker
Cycling Enthusiast
NYC metro

Sleek design, fits under your Garmin. Very wide beam so that it's much more likely to be seen by motorists and pedestrians. Not so bright that it bothers other riders in my group. Battery power (in bright, slow flashing mode) lasts longer than my rides. Many of my buddies bought one because they saw mine. Uses USB type C connector for charging, which I prefer over micro USB.

Smart solution for safety

The light is so easy to use and mount without taken up any extra space on the handlebar. I am always using it because there are no hassle in mounting it or remembering to charge it when it lives together with the head unit.

One of my favorite lights EVER

I love this light, it's probably (with no hyperbole) one of the coolest bike accessories I've ever owned. It's solidly built, has a great light and multiple modes, is USB-C, not expensive, and is pretty much invisible once installed under a Garmin headunit. One thing to note, it is a "to be seen" light, not a "see in the dark" headlight.

Excellent product that cleverly and simply allows for attachment of Garmin computers. Cleans up the handle bars while adding an effective light for commuting and decent light for night time riding.

Good light, very convenient, but could be brighter
by Vern

This is an excellent solution when you have an already crowded bar and limited space. The light could be brighter, so it isn't a perfect solution for a daylight strobe, but it is perfect as a strobe for night riding.

Love This

Picked this up because I bought an aero bike and my old set up would not fit on the wider and thinner bars. My Ravemen works perfectly and stacks under my Garmin Edge. My clean cockpit stays clean.

As advertised

Slim, bright, and most importantly, usable with an aero handlebar setup. Id been looking for something to fit on my flat bar for awhile, and this nails it, with brightness to spare.

Seems to provide very good visibility. Battery lasts about 9 hours. There is no need to purchase anything additional to accommodate Wahoo. Simple removes screws (top side), tap out bottom, rotate top and bottom mount 90 deg and reassemble.

Just so you'll know, this light can be installed on the bottom of a Garmin mount or sandwiched between the Garmin and the top mount.

Before my riding buddies explained this to me, I couldn't mount the thing every other time I tried because I didn't realize the top and bottom are different and tried to mount the wrong way.

Not paying attention to this detail is all on me!

A great and affordable way to be
by Anonymous

I could not be happier with this light - high visibility for my daytime riding with multiple flashing settings. A valuable accessory to help you be "seen." The charge lasts many hours depending on the setting you select. If you're a Wahoo user like me, you will need to get the adapter which you can find on Amazon for about $3.

Nice lite for ensuring you can be seen. After losing my last lite from a little too much gravel bouncing I saw this one that can be easily mounted under my Garmin. That's actually pretty sweet as I have 3 bikes and easily move to whatever I feel like riding that day.

Not a lite for riding in the dark, but otherwise it's a great add.

Perfect for routes where cars need to see you (cause theyre not looking)

It fits perfectly on the lower side of the Garmin out front mount. The flashing mode provides inattentive drivers enough notice to allow for safer rides when moving though the downtown area. Just what I was looking for. And the integrated style matches the Garmin in size and form.
