Front light is not bright enough to do much to light for the rider, but is a lightweight option to be more visible. I had hoped to use this on my fork to give me a little in front of the wheel type light. It's too weak for that unfortunately and unless you have a 90 degree fork, it has no way to adjust the direction which has very little spread. The tail light is great, I think. I can't see it while riding, but it has a good battery life on blink mode and seems bright enough to be seen.
My major qualm with these lights are how cheap and weak feeling the rubber ring and grooves on the lights feel. I do not expect these to last long and I guess I'm just waiting to get home one night and realize it/they're gone.
Also CHARGING is tricky to figure out and they have no instructions. I could not figure it out as there is no micro usb or usb-c port like every other light I've ever used or seen. You pull the light out (it's magnetized) from the base that you fix to the bike, and the piece you pull out plugs directly into a usb port. Cool design, but it doesn't explain that nor was it all that intuitive.
The lights are great and a fantastic bargain for the price. The lights provide visability during rides in the streets of the city and are easy to attach and recharge. I think the USB recharging element give these lights greater value. and you can use them easy if you were out walking a dog ...great job
I originally got one of these taillights for my "pointed-in-the-back" Cervelo seat post. On a recent Century that required lights for a portion of it, I bought this set as a back-up. The lights are lightweight and take up little space in bike bag. They can go anywhere you want them, seat post, handlebars. front fork, back fork, or helmet. You can even clip them in your pocket.
These lights are inexpensive, work well, are light, low profile. Not quite suitable for dark trails at night but general commuting or riding urban areas during low light times they're great. The various ways to attach the light are super convenient. Great product.
Excellent, robust lights, with good range and charge capability. Wondered if the magnet would be strong enough to hold light in place for off-road riding, but all good in that respect. Could have done with two sizes of securing bands so that more locations on bike could be used, but all in all, a great pair of lights.
Picked up these lights on sale. I was a little hesitant but turned out to be a good purchase. The lights can be mounted almost anywhere. I have the white light on the front of the bike under the handlebars. The red light is mounted to my seat stem. In the slow flashing mode I get about 10 hours before having to recharge the lights. Speaking about recharging. Very simple USB recharge. Work like a champ!
