The Favero Assioma PRO MX-1 is the revolutionary pedal-based power meter for MTB and gravel that's 100% SPD® compatible. It inherits the reliability and extreme precision of the Favero road power pedals, adding unparalleled resistance to shocks during your challenges on the trail.
The pedal body in 6061-T6 aluminum is extremely robust and light, ready for all types of terrain. The clipless system features a surface hardness of up to 800 HV, ensuring that the power meter pedal is as resistant to shocks as never seen before.
The PRO MX-1 uses integrated rechargeable batteries: a single charge guarantees at least 60 hours of use. Charging takes place via a magnetic system.
These power meter pedals can be installed and swapped between bikes like any other pedal. They feature both Bluetooth and ANT+ communication channels, which make it compatible with the majority of bike computers and smart watches on the market, as well as with the major training apps such as Zwift, Strava, Bkool, Trainerroad, Rouvy and many others.
Thanks to the special IAV Power System, the Assioma measurements take into account irregular pedaling (e.g., sprints, climbs) or the use of oval chainrings when calculating power, guaranteeing an accuracy of ±1% in any situation.

I bought these pedals to get power number while I ride my gravel bike. I have Shimano SPD cleats and these work just fine with them. So far I've ridden my gravel bike with these pedals a total of 6 rides in 1. 5months. Three of those rides were on gravel and the other three were just riding around town. These pedals connected very quickly to my Garmin 1030 and they stay connected - no drops or connection issues so far after stopping and starting mid-ride. I'm not a huge fan of the app but luckily you only need to use that during initial setup and whenever you want to update firmware which I do not plan to do more than once every quarter. I haven't had to charge them yet after 8-9 hours of riding on them. I wouldn't def recommend these to folks who don't have the budget to purchase the dual sides pedals.
I own a pair of road dual sided-power pedals (different brand) and they have worked well for me. However, when I was looking for a durable gravel/MBT pedal for racing, all my research pointed to the Favero Assioma Pro MX. After installing the pedals (easy), I put them to the test at the Iceman Cometh MTB race in N. Michigan. In spite of the rugged, fast conditions, the Pro MX worked flawlessly. As a quality MTB pedal, they functioned as expected. The pedals were easy to adjust and I had no issues clipping/unclipping. As far as pairing them to my Garmin head unit, again, no issues. The power data was spot on w/ Zero dropouts. Additionally, I have run them on my gravel bike, and they have worked great every time. The pedals are solidly built, and you can feel the quality right out of the box. I was able to get these for about 15% less than other competitive brands, and I feel like I made a wise choice.
