These straps are great, and gave me the ability to put a bottle cage (or frame mounted pump) anywhere on my bike and expand my ability to carry things. They work perfectly, grip the frame well, tighten easily, and did not marr my paint and finish.
Bertrand recommended this to me and I�m so stoked. It held tough Near the bottom bracket on a ride from Portland up and over Mt. hood to Hood River and back with my pal Tommy. What a great day helped out by the extra water capacity!
I've yet to use this on a multi-day trip, but on rough, 50+ mile dirt rides this tool has successfully held an extra bottle on the fork without slipping. I'd bet it will work strapped to the bike in other places as well, although I've not tested that
