    Good but with flaws

These are a nice glove for really cold and wet conditions. Warm, fairly breathable, and nice fit for my hands. Fabric was softer than expected and the interior is nice and soft as well.

My only gripes are there is no touchscreen compatibility (you have to be kidding on a $120 cycling glove where every one of your consumers has a touchscreen on their phone or Garmin?), and the zipper is fairly difficult to operate when youre wearing the gloves- the fabric is very soft and it just tends to bunch up instead of unzip.

I ordered some e-tip stickers from Amazon to fix the first issue, the second I just need to accept and deal with.

Overall good glove, a next gen that fixes those issues would be really great and worth five stars.

    Great gloves

Ive used them down to 35F, in snow and rain. Although colder than 35F, I was quite uncomfortable. Stayed dry in rain and snow. The zipper works, but Im not sure why its there, as the give is pretty tight when zip is open. I can slip it off and on easily to work my phone. Would be great Nordic skiing too, and the zipper would have a function, keeping the glove on while poling. Palm material is grippy, even when wet. Seems are well sewed, should last a year or two.

Great warmth for those wintery downhills!

I'm 54, 5'10 and ride mostly hard tail or gravel bikes in the winter. I tend to do mostly climbing where I wear just a thin, windproof glove as otherwise my hands get hot and sweaty. These gloves I throw in by bag or in my pocket for the downhill. Once at the top I grab my windbreaker and these gloves to keep my from getting chilled on the decent. They provide great wind protection and a good amount of warmth. Though, if I'm going anywhere near 30mph, my fingers can still get slightly cold, but not enough to impair my ability to break. I'm a huge fan of Castelli, especially the winter gear!

A big improvement over my old Castelli winter gloves

My Castelli Corsa winter gloves never really fit me well which probably contributed to my cold hands. Riding thru the upper mid-west winters, I needed a glove that would work down into the upper 30's and fit better (colder than that and I switch to my lobster claws). After comparing all the choices, I went with the Castelli Espresso GT. They fit much better and are definitely warmer. I like the zipper closure and have had only minimal issues zipping them closed. Once closed they feel very secure with no cold air ingress noted. Would buy again.

    Great gloves to about 38F

Bought these gloves for my pre dawn training rides which can be as cold as 29 degrees Fahrenheit. These are not as warm as I would have expected but are slightly more roomy than the Entrata Insulated gloves. With a fleece or merino liners I expect these to hit mark.

As an older rider keeping my hands warm is harder than it use to be. With a liner these have been warm to 35. I have small hands, using the size chart leaves room for a light liner. Really like the z

Most of my rides start at 9:00 AM as long as the temperature is 35 and up and sunny or 40 and cloudy. I'm an older rider and keeping my hands warm is necessary. These gloves supplemented with a liner handles my needs well. At about 45 the liners have to come out and at about 50 they start getting too warm and at 55 they are too warm.

Use for 30-40 degree days of biking plus basic gloves in a non-athletic setting. The fingers feel like they could be slightly better insulated. I therefore use these on cold days but not below 30, at least not for long rides.
