The Doormate 2 by 12speed products is their second generation universal garage door system for your bicycle. The same garage door remote is designed to integrate into your flat handlebars or stem for easy and convenient use without the hassle of carrying another item on your bike ride. And now it features two programmable buttons for multiple garages or gates.
The Doormate 2 has more options for mounting compared to the original Doormate. Mount it to the top of the handlebar like a bell or mount it on top of your stem cap. If you have an extra waterbottle screw mount with a M5 or M6 thread, you can mount the Doormate 2 directly to your frame.

The unit programmed easy, and works fine. The clamp included snapped in half immediately when trying to install over my bars. Had to go to the hardware store and purchase a cable clamp. Worked fine. Don't see why the manufacturer couldn't have used similar materials.
I didn�t use this for a bike. I used it for my motorcycle. The motorcycle community experiences the same inconveniences as bicyclists. This has solved a problem and filled a valuable need. No relying on my phone with MyQ and I no longer have to carry a bulky remote in my pocket and fumbling around to find the button. This is far better than the keychain versions too, clinking around and again, fumbling for the button. I simply reach over with my thumb and press. My only question is why isn�t this item being advertised to the motorcycle community? Consider this demographic. I will recommend this to anyone. Love it!

When it works, it's great. But more often than not, it does not work unless I am standing directly under my garage door opener...which doesn't help if I'm outside the garage wanting to get in.
I have a Genie garage door opener, FWIW.
We have both an automatic gate and a garage door, and it's tiresome to dismount in order to manually enter codes (or dig around in my bag for an opener button). This is exactly what I need! I got one to try and it works well, so I'm ordering more to have one on each bike!
