Shimano Ultegra wheels are one of their best secrets. I used these to upgrade a customer's custom Ti bike. I also happen to have pair on my KHS. If your are considering new wheels you can't beat these they are, They are very light for an aluminum wheel, solid, resposvie ...even better on sale!

Thanks to these awesome wheels, my mileage has increased considerably. They provide a new found performance and efficiency normally found in far, far more expensive products. They are perfectly balanced and seem to provide a great deal of enjoyment, due to its design. At this price, it is hard to bypass the opportunity to improve your equipment. I would recommend this wheel set for every cycling enthusiast .
I wanted to make the move from clinchers to tubeless, but Im kind of cautious, so I wanted a second set of wheels. I really had my eye on Mavics new UST setup, but price and availability werent in my favor. Since my other rims are Ultegra, and the price is so good, I decided to get the 6800s. Some differences from the older wheels lighter hub, flatter spokes... quality build. I paired them with Schwalbe Pro One 28s, and while they were difficult to mount, they seated very easily... I used my track pump! The combination of the two is brilliant faster, more comfortable, great handling. I couldnt be more pleased. The only gripe is that the valve doesnt unscrew, so you need to put the sealant in along the rim. But whatever. Its a great combo!
Was really looking forward to running these wheels. Felt like a two wheel steering trick bike. Cassette was randomly jumping around, wheel wobbling and brakes dragging. Pulled axle and discovered five of the thirteen ball bearings were missing from the drive side. I hope everyone that buys these wheelsets fairs better than I did! Shimano, your quality control is poor and you owe me for the repair and inconvenience.
Super happy with this wheelset as an upgrade to the factory wheels on my road bike. Pretty light and strong to boot.

I do some bike commuting, club rides, and occasional big group rides. Distance ranges from 25 - 160 miles. These wheels roll really smoothly, feel solid but not heavy.
I put Rubino Pro 28 cm clinchers on. Didn't need to use tire levers and it wasn't too much work to get them on. It was a tight fit. Took a few minutes to go around the wheel a couple of times to get the beads lined up in the center of the rim. Then it was no problem to get that last section of bead to slide over the rim.
This wheeltire combination rolls very efficiently in comparison to other bikes on long downhill stretches.
A nice upgrade from the Mavic Aksium set I had on before.
Run these on my TIme ZXRs race bike for mainly training rides and occasionally a few races.
Everything a good reliable wheelset needs to be. Rolls true, reasonably light. I haven't tried out tubeless tires yet. But 400 miles so far on them in the last 2 months and I really like them. For the price, they can't be beat!
This set of wheels should be part of any new bicycle is great!! The availability to run tubeless or clinchers is perfect, I have no problems installing tubeless tires Hutchinson Intensive 2 700x25 and regular clinchers Continental Grand Prix 4000s II 700x25.
Is the perfect training wheels they are not light 1640 grams but they are smooth rolling. The trick to install tubeless tires is to wet with soapy water the bead of the tire and it will go without a problem and remember to add latex sealant every other month specially in the hot summer days.
