Quintana Roo cd0.1 Frameset

The Quintana Roo cdO.1 triathlon bike frame comes with the ground breaking Shift Technology and with a few improvements most notably in the high modulus carbon fiber lay up that reduces it's weight by 10 percent over the 2010 model. Having a stiff frame is great, but you need a BB30 bottom bracket to transfer all that power directly through the drive train and to the wheels. All the everyday features that helped make previous models a hit are still there. The newly designed concave rear brake caliper surface is easier to work on and allows for better pad adjustment. It's easy to travel with on a plane and easily serviced by most bike shops across the country. QR did fantastic, real world research and development on the CD0.1 design. Once built, it is ready to roll and roll fast.

Shift Technology: While riding, a surge of air is created from behind the front whee and the unprecedented aerodynamics of the CD0.1 enables suction to draw the wind off to the “clean” side (non-drive side) of the bike. Thus, less resistance is created, making you the sleekest rider on the course.

In addition to aero shapes throughout the frame and fork, the CD0.1 features a slightly offset downtube. This feature allows the wind to flow naturally from the head tube and front wheel to the clean side (non-drive side) and stream past the rear wheel. After numerous trips to the wind tunnel, this performance enhancing design rewards you with the least amount of drag ever recorded.
