There's nothing else in the peloton that looks so bold as the Oakley Jawbreaker, but maybe that's because it takes a hearty amount of boldness to be able to sweep up as many World Tour sprints as Mark Cavendish has done.
The Jawbreaker is an industry leading piece of tech that was developed as a result of Cavendish's request for a pair of sunglasses that combined both the protection of a full-frame model like the Racing Jacket with the unrestricted field of view of Oakley's RadarLock.
The highly vaunted O Matter™ frames are stress-resistant and lightweight so they can take a beating while providing all day comfort. Their temples have three adjustable lengths to keep them from interfering with your helmet, and Unobtanium™ ear and nose pads keep the grip up even under intense perspiration. The Switchlock™ design makes swapping lenses a no-hassle endeavor.
The optics feature Plutonite impact-resistant lenses featuring cutting edge Prizm technology, which utilizes lens tints that optimize colors and sharpen details and contours like nothing else on the market. The Polaric Ellipsoid curvature of this massive lens eliminates distortion for crystal clear acuity while being able to provide a full wrap for the best field of view, keeping you focused and ready for anything the road might throw at you.

I use these sunglasses for road and gravel rides and races. The large lenses give me a clear field of view and the lenses enhance my vision of the road and obstacles.
They are a bit pricey but look for sales so you can look Pro on a amateur budget :)
Might not be the perfect option for every head size and shape. Some folks have issues with the frame sitting high and preventing preferred helmet positioning.
I had the Prizm trail lenses but in some cases they were too dark when riding in the forest. These are great inside the forest and actually OK in the sun which makes them my goto MTB glasses.
They are very comfortable and the vents prevent them from fogging up most of the time.
I wear these every time I'm on the bike. I used to wear the Radar Path but found that debris would always get into my eyes...with the Jawbreaker I don't have that problem. The wrap around style and lower frame keep all dirt and debris out of my eyes. Love the look, feel and function...especially the cool lense color.
Overall, these sunglasses are great. Arm length adjustability and rubber grip ensures a good secure fit. One thing I noticed is a little more sweat dripping from my brow possibly from the coverage extending above the eyebrow, not allowing sweat to dryevaporate from adequate airflow.
Massive coverage for cycling and great shade on sunny days! Very well constructed with cool adjustable rails. Only downside is the clunky bottom frames, especially if you've used open lense design. but after a while, you will adjust to the presence of these strong and rugged frame supports. Kudos Oakley!!
I decided to upgrade my glasses for my road rides. These things are awesome - they offer a lot more coverage than my other pair of Oakleys I was using. Ive loved the bigger lenses and the coverage they provide. Not sure if Id wear for causal use but definitely while in the saddle
By far the best biking shades I have owned, Comfortable, adjustable, and the Prism road lenses are crisp, clear and work incredibly well in both full sun and shade. Aside from a cheaper price, what more could you ask for? Get 'em on sale and call it done.
Jawbreakers don't fog, the new Prizm lens works well and the adjustable temples means they don't interfere with the helmet cradle.
Nice large coverage is really a bonus, no seeing the top brow of the glasses when in an more aero position.
I have bought 2 pairs and I keep the Prizm road lens in one and the photochromic lens in the other.
Great design !
