The Finis Aqua Pulse HRM is a revolutionary product made specifically for swimmers to monitor their heart rate. The Aqua Pulse is a water proof monitor that uses an advanced PCB infrared sensor that clips to the earlobe in order to pick up the swimmers heart rate. It does this by measuring the light pulses due to capillary flow in the skin. The Aqua Pulse then communicates this heart rate through a bone-conduction unit that the swimmer clips onto their goggle strap and rest on their temple and sends the sound from the swimmers temple bone to the inner ear.
