El Tour 202: Working on Your Bike

NOTE: The 2009 course series is now over. Please check back for 2010 date starting in June.
This hands-on course is geared toward all levels of cyclists who are looking for greater working knowledge of how their bicycle works and how to perform minor repairs at home or on the road. This 2-3 hour course covers the following topics:Pre-ride inspection checklist
Flat and tire repair
Gearing Options
Pedal and cleat adjustments
Frame cleaning
Brake caliper maintenance and adjustments
Front and rear derailleur adjustments
Headset adjustments
Chain measuring and replacement
Bike lubrication
Please come with your bike and prepared to work on it! Classes are held at TriSports.com at 1:00 pm on the following dates: June 20
